Wonderful Family

So this past week we went up to Washington to visit my family. It was soo much fun! I do wish we lived closer to my family. Sorry no pictures for some reason we didn't get the camera out even though the whole family was there. We did have a great time and did lots of stuff. We helped build a barn and by we I mean Jesse, we went to a movie, watched Dallin play Marimba in the park, Jesse went white water rafting and moutain biking with Dallin and James, we had camp fires and just hung out. It was awsome my family just makes me happy and laugh really hard. It is always nice to come home and visit I have the best family in the world! Thanks for everything Mom and Dad we love you!

Jesses stress relief

These are pictures of a day out in Idaho Carp shooting. Yes it is the best of both worlds hunting and fishing. You hunt them down in the shallows and hit them with a bow and arrow and reel them in. Jesse, Josh and Stephanie(friends), Pace (brother, and Grandpa had a really fun day. I think between them all they shot about 30 plus fish (according to them) and Josh got the most with i think a total of 25 of those 30 plus. Anyways here are a few pictures of their fun day. And No I didn't go this time, I didn't think i would do well wading around in the shallow (plus a pair of waders probalby wouldn't fit me). I have gone before with Jesse and grandpa and it is quite fun and entertaining after you get over how HUGE they are.

I can't hardly belive how big i look in these pictures i didn't think i looked that big in the mirror :o) But i am glad that he is growing strong.I have been doing great and feeling good, my whole pregnancy i haven't really had to much illness mostly just tired at the begining and now i'm trying to keep swelling down in my feet from a few weeks of working on my feet all day long. Anyways i hope that all of you that asked for these pictures are satisfied..... baby is defiently growing...

Catching up

So We have been off line for a little while so sorry it has been a while. There is lots going on i'm not sure where to start... first I guess it should be mentioned that we are having a BOY and are really excited about it! My parents came down for conference weekend I was soo happy to have them come family is always fun to have around expecially when you don't get to see them for a while. My mom is the best too, she brought down some crafts and things for me to do because i get prettty bored at home while Jesse is at work. Lets see what else have we been up to.....
lots of baby shopping, Jesse has been working hard at his job, funeral not fun, and last week just hanging out together enjoying the weather and eachother. I'm so glad a married my best friend we have such a good time together. The pictures that on this post are an easter basket that I painted (thanks mom for the cut out wood) I think it turned out quite cute. Also, this is the basinett blanket I'm working on nothing to fancy but it keeps me busy. If anyone has any suggestions to keep busy I would love to hear them, I'll be done with most of my projects in the next week or so.

Dallas

So me and Jesse just got back from Dallas. Jesses brother lives down there and we went down for a baby blessing, but I think mostly the HOG hunt. Jesse had a really good time and got 2 hogs, he has been needing to do the outdoor thing really bad so i'm glad he got to go. Lucky for him he got to fly down to dallas while I got to drive the 22 hours down and back (well I rode in the car). That part wasn't the best but once we got there I had a really good time. While the boys went off on there hunt we went to visit the place where they make money (i don't remeber what it was called) and what was most fun was we went shopping.... There were like 5 or 6 ladies there and it was soo fun, it was like shopping with sisters i never had. Anyways I had a really good time and the 80 degree weather really helped! I guess while we were down there my belly desided that it wanted to pop out and baby wanted to make a presents so yes you can now finally start to tell that i'm having a baby at 17 almost 18 weeks :o)Anyways i didn't take any pictures in dallas but Jesse did on the hog hunt so here are some pictures of his fun.

Owens Baby

So I have been holding out a little while just to make sure that I was doing ok but here is the news..... After a few years of complications WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!! We are really excited and all new expecting parents are but it was a huge surprize. We found out that we were expecting the first day of Jesse's new job (big life changes). Then the next big surprize is when I went to the doctor to see how far along I was... I was pretty much 10 WEEKS along What a surprize to us, I had no idea! Anyways there were a few things that were a little concern so I had an ultrasound just short of 10 weeks and sorry if you think these pictures are weird but we are having a baby so I have to show you.I had another check up today and she said that everything looked normal so we are optimistic about a good and healthy baby due Aug.15th just short of our 4 year anniversary. Right now I'm 12 weeks along so starting into my 2nd trimester and i'm doing quite well I think. It is all still a litte sureal even though we have seen the baby and heard the heart beat, but we are excited.

I do love cheesecake

This one is for Kristin, sorry it took me so long it took me a while to find. I thought that everyone else would like to have this recipe also it is a VERRY good one. Not my own creation just one I found and like, I hope you all like it too.
NO-BAKE CHEESECAKE PIE
1 cup vanilla or white chocolate chips
2 packages cream cheese cubed (8oz each)
1 carton (8oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 Graham cracker crust (9 in)
INSTRUCTION
IN a heavy sauce pan, melt chips over medium-low heat; stir until smooth. Remove from the heat; stir in cream cheese until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Pour into crust. Cover and refrigerate overnight or until set. Just before serving ( put what ever topping you like to put on your cheese cake on)
Easy huh? I guess yummy dosen't always mean healthy huh :o) Hope everyone likes it, let me know how it goes.
